Roku and Vimeo Team Up to Bring High Quality Video to the TV

Roku, Inc., maker of the popular and award-winning family of Roku streaming players, and Vimeo®, an operating business of IAC [NASDAQ: IACI], today announced the availability of the Vimeo channel on Roku, bringing a rich library of personal and professional content to the TV for viewing in high definition. Roku customers can find the Vimeo channel in the Roku Channel Store later today.

The Vimeo channel on Roku will give Roku customers access to the most popular videos on Vimeo in up to HD quality as selected by Vimeo staff. If you are a Vimeo user, link your account to watch your own videos as well as those in your personalized inbox. Vimeo also just introduced a new feature that is built into the Roku channel called ‘Watch Later’. The watch later feature is an easy way to queue up a playlist to enjoy when time allows.

Roku players already offer a wide range of entertainment options with more than 50 channels currently available to choose from. The addition of Vimeo expands the breadth of content that is now readily available for viewing in high definition on the TV.
